City Country Life

CityCountryLife Small

Hi, welcome to another #CityCountryLife.  The linky is about loving life.  I love the contrasts between the varied places we live.

Each week Becca and I share a little something about what we have been up to in our local area. She is the city girl and I live here in the countryside. We would love it if you shared any posts about your week, whether that be a walk in the woods, a trip to your local park or maybe you had fun at home planting up your garden.

This week I’m thinking about LOVE.  I think that it would be great to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family.  If you have any (easy) crafts or baking ideas please do let me know on Facebook or Twitter!  I love seeing what others do, it’s a great way to get ideas.

My love is taking me to ASK Italian in Yeovil at the weekend, I love pasta and their Tirimisu is my fav!  Big shout out once again to my Ma and Pa, who are babysitter extrodinaire’s,  I truly don’t know what we would do without them.  For sure we wouldn’t have a social life!

The weather has been very windy and rainy, so I’ve not many chances to get the camera out.  I’m sharing these photo’s from our walk at Montacute House last week, as I do like to include the countryside in my posts if I can!

As always this link up is open for a week, so plenty of time to add your own posts! We’ve decided to drop the topic to make it easier.  Just grab our badge and link up your roundups below.

I’m linking up my Trespass review!

With love

  1. Brilliant selection of photos and I love your kids coats! I’ve just got a new duffle coat for Katie but of course – she’s refusing to wear it! I’m sure she doesn’t feel the cold like the rest of us.

I’m blogging about our home made Valentine’s cards on Friday so come take a peak then but for now – I’ll link up that’s about a country as we get near to the city!

  2. Thanks, we do splash out on the kids’ coats, Harry’s is Joules and Katie’s is Boden. The quality speaks for itself though and they look lovely on them. Looking forward to seeing your Valentine’s cards, it’s so lovely to include the kids isn’t it? Thanks for linking up again Laura to #CityCountryLife xo
