City Country Life // Out & About

Hey friends,

CityCountryLife Small

Welcome to City Country Life // Out & About.  City Country Life is a series run by me and the amazing Becca from Keeping up with the Joneses.  We love where we live and between us we cover topics of interest with Becca giving the ‘City’ slant and me putting forward the ‘Country’ perspective.

You can link up ANY posts about where you live, if you want to use the topic you are very welcome but there is no need to link up!

This week’s topic came up in a conversation with Becca about pushchairs.  The London set seem pretty Bugaboo bound, the country is a mix with not one brand that really stands out as being ‘THE’ popular brand for the country set.

I started out with an iCandy Apple when I had Master H and when he was about 8 months old I bought a Maclaren XT and that is the pushchair I have stuck with ever since.  Little Miss went into it from birth and I think they’re fab.  I particularly love that you can lay flat and the hood goes right over.

However, since this might not be the most interesting story ever I thought you’d like to see some photo’s of the kids out and about in their various modes of transport!

  1. We’ve got a Bugaboo as our main pram, but then I also have a BOB for running, a Mountain Buggy Nano for travel and an Out and About double (we’ve I’ve used once!). I would’ve said the Bugaboo was the most popular in Edinburgh a few years back but think the Uppa Baby Vista has taken the lead. The shopping basket is such an amazing size that I’m pretty envious – although not enough to buy one!

I kind of feel I need to get rid of a buggy but wouldn’t be able to choose which! Just thankful for a garage!

    Thanks again for hosting #CityCountryLife

  2. Glad to finally have gotten around to linking up – sorry it’s taken so long. Hope to stop by regularly although I’ll mostly be City, I think! x #citycountrylife
