Face Time

Hi lovelies,

I just had this brainwave, like bam! Do you ever get amazing brainwaves and then do nothing about it? I don’t want this to be one of those times.

I don’t get on very well talking to people on the phone. ¬†Even friends, people I love, me and phone calls are not friends.

I think it’s because I’m better face to face with people, I need to see the persons face and for them to see mine, eyeball to eyeball.

I wondered if you’re like that with my blog? Do you need to see what faces I’m pulling (and I pull some cracking facial expressions) to really get what I mean, to hear what my heart is trying to say?

Recently I’ve been chatting with Becca about our joint linky which is launching next Monday (insert much excitement), well I don’t think we would have gotten on half as well as we have without FaceTime. Sometimes the meaning or tone gets lost in translation in texts and e-mails. Do you find that? So we have FaceTimed each other every week and gotten loads sorted and enjoyed chatting to each other too! It’s been amazing.

So on to my brainwave. I’m going to attempt (don’t want to run before I can walk here) to do a FaceTime inspired vlog for you each week so you can see my face as I talk about whatever subject it is I want to chat with you about and call it Face Time. Does that sounds like a good idea?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments or on twitter/facebook!

  1. This sounds like a great idea! I’m the same re phone calls – I’m not unsociable but there’s something about phoning people that I dislike — it’s like having half a conversation with them because you can’t see their expressions etc.

Looking forward to your first face time! x
