Welcome to Share the Joy!
Quotes are really important to me and a motivating quote that is read at just the right moment can take me from feeling overwhelmed to hopeful. Hopeful that I really will come through it after all. The one I love at the moment is “Either I win or I learn, but I never lose!” Marie Forleo.
The most comforting quotes to me are from the people who have been there, done that and been open enough to share their story. That’s why I love my interview series so much. Revealing the person or people behind the brand or business is a joy for me. I’m all about story telling and human connection.
It’s no coincidence that I prefer non-fiction to fiction. Recently I’ve read Brene Brown, Oprah Winfrey and Sarah Turner (the Unmumsy Mum) and in all three books I found the same thread running through, vulnerability in the form of sharing their heart and the story of their journey. It can become abit cliche if we’re not careful can’t it, everyone saying they’re on a ‘journey’, and yet it’s true, we are on a journey and in the end that journey is with ourselves.
All of us are unique and with our own story to tell. I’m looking forward to reading your stories in the blog posts linked up!
Right, on to the link up!
Michelle has asked me to step in and host for her while she creates some exciting new courses and free resources for busy mamas and bloggers – including working 121 with them to create exciting goals and actionable plans to make 2017 their Best Year Yet! (Find out more here Best Year Yet!).
I’m really excited to be hosting and can’t wait to read all your fabulous posts!
Bloggers, writers, artists, poets, if creating something made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile – you’re welcome here.
Link up and share your creations with a wider audience. All genres are welcome – new or old favourites and as many links as you like.
Each week, I’ll pick a favorite post and feature it on the following week’s Share the Joy link up (I’ll be adding my picks to Michelle’s Pinterest Board where you’ll find all our favourites in one place). Last time I loved: What to get your mum for Mother’s Day by Morgan’s Milieu. I’ve gone for something from Not On The High Street for my mum and Morgan has some great ideas too so check out her post!
Today I’m sharing my SELECTED interview with Richard Clothier from Wyke Farms with details of how you can win a lifetime’s supply of energy for your home and I’d really love your comments.
Ok, let’s Share the Joy!
Here’s a reminder of the 3 really simple mandatory rules…
1) Link up a creation that has brought you JOY – all genres are welcome, new or old favourites and as many links as you like!
2) Link back either by including the Share the Joy badge (below) or a text link back to this Share the Joy linky page in your own post.
3) Please comment on one of your hosts’ posts and a few others. Let’s Share the JOY through commenting as well as through our posts!
Share the Joy will run for a whole week until the following week’s linky is open, so you’ll never be too late. And don’t forget to tweet me (@lizzie_roles) and Michelle (@MReevesCoaching) the URL to your post using the hashtag #sharethejoylinky so we can retweet it.
Feel free to invite your friends to join in – JOY is always better when it’s shared!
As always have a wonderful week!
